1. Introduction
Welcome to Foothills K9 Training! These Terms of Service outline the agreement between you, the client, and our company. By enrolling in our dog training services, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read this agreement thoroughly before enrolling in our services.
2. Services
Foothills K9 Training offers a variety of dog training programs designed to meet the specific needs of each dog and their owner. Our services include obedience training, behavior modification, puppy training, and private lessons. All training services are provided by our experienced and certified trainers.
3. Client Responsibilities
As a client of Foothills K9 Training, you agree to adhere to the guidelines provided by our trainers and participate actively in the training process. This includes practicing the techniques and commands taught during training sessions and maintaining a consistent approach to your dog's training outside of the sessions.
4. Payment and Refunds
Payment for training services is due in full before the commencement of the training program. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards and electronic transfers. We do not offer refunds for completed sessions, but we may consider refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a training session, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a non-refundable cancellation fee. Our trainers may also need to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, and we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule for makeup sessions.
6. Health and Safety
It is essential that all dogs participating in our training programs are up to date on vaccinations and in good health. We reserve the right to refuse training services to any dog that shows signs of illness or aggression. Additionally, clients are required to inform our trainers of any relevant health or behavioral issues that may impact the training process. Your dog must have the following vaccinations before entering training:
Bordetella (kennel cough)
Rabies
DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
7. Confidentiality
At Foothills K9 Training, we respect the privacy of our clients and their dogs. Any information shared during training sessions will be kept confidential. Photos and videos will be taken at each training session and have the potential to be used for training or promotional material. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions you agree that content created from training sessions can be used online.
8. Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure the safety of all dogs during training sessions, Foothills K9 Training and its trainers are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during training. Clients assume full responsibility for their dog's behavior and any consequences that may arise from the training process.
9. Amendments
Foothills K9 Training reserves the right to revise these Terms of Service at any time. It is the client's responsibility to review the terms periodically for any changes. Continued use of our training services after such modifications will constitute acknowledgment and acceptance of the amended terms.
